It’s good but at the same time some of these riffs sound EXACTLY like stuff he’s written before. Like exactly.

I figured it out. It’s got eerily similar stoccato in the guitar riff in the first verse as Head Hunter

Meh Cream of the Crop also didn’t very little for me. Tilian forcing the weird inflection throughout just bothered me and tore me right out of it. Also, for how chaotic DGD instrumentals strive to be, they sound way too sterile and “perfect”, there is very little edge or character to any of it.

i feel like i have some vendetta against Head Hunter for coming at a point where I thought they were releasing shit too often so I haven't dug it much since the release.

but yeah the 29th is new xenoblade day so any chance i can get to listen to this album earlier would be nice

I got the collector's edition of XC3 coming but I'm traveling out of state on the 29th so I won't get to enjoy it at all over the weekend.

LUCKY YOU it looks like they're gonna sell the collector's items separately so there's hope for me yet.

Last two minutes are the best part of the song and probably best two minutes of music they’ve released since ArSe.

every single has been solid, I am quite pumped for this release. I have listened to Mothership and Artificial Selection to the ground so I need that new new

I only listened to this album like 3 times, it was okay. The singles have been great for JJ, pretty excited

if I want to be completely honest with myself, I'm not expecting much and if the rest of the 15+ track album sounds like the singles JJ might be my first 2.5 since Royal Ocean. It always sucks when you aren't excited for bands you used to love anymore but I guess that's just growing up.
