Agreed hard CYB in 2014 is pretty much unlistenable but back in high school m//m/

Slightly? SS was a MASSIVE improvement. I think they've had huge leaps in quality. I still jam this quite often, I because it's a great album, but in terms of sound they werte best on There's a hell...

still can't understand why some like there is a hell better than this.
in terms of albums as a whole
i think there are some way stronger songs on there is a hell but as a whole semp is way better imo

CYB wasn't terrible and SS wasn't that great so it's not a huge gap in quality, there is a hell is by far their best and has their greatest songs, in this oli tries too hard to sound like the linkin park guy and the songwritings not especially interesting or different as I could've been imo

Talon, if I was rich I'd buy every copy of CYB in the world and use them all to wipe my arse after i take a shit. Fucking horrible album.

lol it has its moments but yeah I'd probably rate it a 2. There's much worse deathcore out there though

This is BMTH's best and most mature album. SS and TIAH have some tight jams though.

It may be their best work overall, but it's still nothing mindblowing

There Is A Hell is way better, it has their best songs and their most interesting songwriting imo. This is just repetitive and odd

The songwriting on this is really poor in comparison and I think that's better than whatever sonic experimentation they offer on this.

Album Rating: 3.0
yeah its good that their branching out, but the songwriting on this was a bit meh
there is a hell is less complex but more consistent

I reckon these guys are capable of something big with the direction they're going. They first need to grow up a bit and who knows how long that will take

i think their next album will probably be quite strong
i have high hopes for them

Well, in another 2 years, we'll see maybe? Until then, their current discog isn't anything special

is for me, but i have a real soft spot for them. i view them above most other generic core bands they often get lumped in with. theyre the only core band thats really hated that i quite like tho (i dont count ES, they dont get nearly as much flak as these guys)
i think if you listen to enough music there will always be bands that in your eyes are uneccesarily shat on. BMTH is one of them for moi

It's cool, we can keep ES to ourselves man. I definitely think they're better than the generic metalcore around, but 'better' right now only means potential. Something they are making progress towards, but have barely touched yet IMO. It's really encouraging and even if my highest rating for them is 3, I'll still listen to whatever they put out with keen ears.
ES don't get that much hate, unless you're an Arctic Monkeys fan, it's just the people here. I know people who love their stuff but don't like any other 'core' bands as such. I think they get a lot of hate because of their image and the bands their grouped with, which really sucked. Maybe if everyone heard the Rat Race EP before anything else, people actually would have liked them
