Alligator is amazing but it's a 4.5 for me whereas this and Boxer are 5s. It's definitely a grower though cause I didn't like it at all at first. It just has a few songs I don't like whereas I love every song on their other two "classics"

Dude, I was hooked on Alligator super-quick. I've had many intimate, ugly, and beautiful moments to that album. It's a "classic" in my book easily, there's really not a single thing I don't love about it.
I forgot who I'm talking to, but whoever said it, what exactly do you mean the songs on Alligator being "underwritten" compared to Boxer?

One of the best records of last year for sure. So many great moments and I agree not even a single weak moment. Might bump it up to a 5 later. I can't believe it took me this long to get into these guys.
