Ah right, that setlist wasn't bad but could be better. I saw them in Nov 08 in London:

Heir Apparent

The Grand Conjuration

Godhead's Lament

The Lotus Eater

Bleak

Hope Leaves

Deliverance

Demon of the Fall

The Drapery Falls

Pretty badass if I do say so myself.

Definitely one of the best gigs I've ever been to, can't wait to see them in April too. You going to any of their anniversary gigs?

hope they play Master's Apprentices at the anniversary shows, Mikael did say they would be playing some songs they don't play as often. I would be happy with Deliverance or A Fair Judgement though

So I just recently discovered this album and gave Opeth a listen for the first time....and I have no choice but to rate it a 5. Its incredible how they go from death metal into soft acoustic rock passages with soaring vocals. Mikael is extremely talented, as are the rest of the band.

Haha Wizard. Well, I'm pretty excited to listen to these guys, this album blew me away. I'm sure their other albums are worth listening too. Its very time consuming going through an Opeth album though haha.
