not a very good album. influential it is, but very average. i rate albums on how good the music is not because it is influential death. 1989 has much better death metal.
the drumming is a lot of fast blast beats. the solos are like slayer dull whammy bar solos and not so many good riffs. lyrics are satanic and try to create an evil atmosphere. vocals are good but there are better vocalists.
