"i would also like to see this happen, possibly in the form of a geometric proof? lol"

I asked for it to not be in proof form, check the previous page

Oh, I see what you mean now. The only time I've ever seen a geometric proof is on here so I'm not that familiar with the term.

Kroeger is a moronic ape (which I really don't mind at times), but he's a moronic ape that is laughing all the way to the bank.

Absolutely. Nickelback don't make even the slightest pretense about being artistic.

Maybe I just don't want to live in a world where people think 'Rockstar' is artistic.

Because he called someone a nasty name. I've posted a quote from one of the staff calling MJ a cunt.

Regressing to childish name calling when you don't get the results that you want isn't fine.

No I didn't. Like I said I don't expect someone who doesn't like the music to like the lyrics. Page 112. I'd honestly be willing to discuss this in a legitimate way but it seems like most 1 users are just trolls.

ConsiderPhlebas I think you have some legitimate arguments though. But do you have a problem with my explanation on pg 112? And all I was saying about Nickelback is that the lyrics are a form of poetry. Just like an 8 year old coloring with crayons can be considered a form of art. Not good art, not good poetry, just art and poetry. I'm really going nowhere with that argument, it's not even really supposed to be an argument, just what I think about the definition of poetry i guess. But I'm off to work so itll be interesting to see what happens while im gone.

Illuvatar admitted he was fat yesterday. How can the truth be a bannable offense?

Recap:

You "I wasn't comparing them. Drew's lyrics are far worse than the stupid ramblings of Nickelback."

You "Are you asking for a detailed analysis of Drew's lyrics?"

Me "No, I am asking you to prove the fact that Nickelback lyrics are 'better'/'more intelligent' than CTTS lyrics. I don't think you can."

You "I never said that Nickelback's lyrics were more intelligent. I simply meant that while Nickelback's lyrical output is the idiotic outpourings of apes, Drew's lyrics are an insidious attempt to create something that appears to be artistic, poetic and comparable with classical literature. This is my subjective take on his lyrics, and while I think it's impossible to 'prove' anything like what you're asking, I do believe I could write an extremely good argument backing up that point of view."

What I got:

You said Drew's lyrics are 'far worse' than the 'stupid ramblings of Nickelback'

All I have asked you is how Nickelback lyrics are 'better' than CTTS and you did not do that.

All you did was say 'Nickelback accomplishes this, while CTTS does this' and then talk about subjectivity.

All I know is if Electric City can get away with calling MJ a cunt and MJ gets banned for calling Illuvatar fat, something is amiss.

He was bugging them so they decided to find an excuse to get rid of him for a while, simple as that
