Once it clicks, you won't go back, it alters your standards, at least happens to me

Man, I thought I was kicking the hornet's nest there. I hope this does click with me someday, it's heavy and I admire the musicianship a lot.

Meshuggah does stuff to me no other band does. Also seeing them live was incredible.

If you're planning to get into the pit action at their show I'd advise you to get jacked
because the pit during "Bleed" is one rough sob

Agreed, exactly, same for me.

But, if it does not click for you wildinferno, it is also ok. No prob ;)

I'm just not really much for music that relies so much on oblique rhythms without anything else adding some colour to it. I can sort of appreciate the winding, mechanical vibe they have going on, but the lack of easily discernible melody or dynamics just makes it feel pummeling and unpleasant after a bit.

But also I really like mathcore, so I feel like I should get it more than I do. I guess I'll just keep trying every so often.

"the one where that hot chick maneuvers through the laser beams"

Can't tell you how many times I watched this movie as a kid. Not because of that scene, but honestly the movie is kinda catchy

Incredible album. Sad to see how sput has become flooded with pleb oddballs who think that Poopiphery are better.

This album smacks you in the face right from that opening riff and never eases up until it's over.
