"The only reason I know this album exists is because of the internet, ain't nobody I ever spoke to irl be listening to this overrated drivel"
That is meaningless. You don't come across as very worldly, so it's not surprising that you're main source of information comes via the Internet... but saying that, we live in the age of the Internet anyway, why is this even a thing you're mentioning? Most people learn things these days via a combination of both. It's not criticism your offering, just mild... what exactly... trolling? I don't know...
But really, you can't call this drivel when you insist on spouting it yourself with basically incoherent, pointless moaning.

'Sure its metalcore, but I do not like the abundant hardcore components in the album'
You're free to dislike it. However, Converge are strikingly hardcore-infused (the clue's in the name 'core'), but they're also metalcore because of the thrashy metal riffing amongst other things. You can't separate the history of what spawned a genre because any modern lens may disagree with the term. Jas raises a fair point with post-rock because the founding fathers of that genre sound quite starkly different to what occurred later on with GY!BE / EITS etc.

You can call it overrated drivel if that’s what it is to you, fine, but after we already know that’s how you feel, what’s the point going on in the same way, saying essentially the same thing? You’re free to do it, sure, but why do it at all? You’re not saying anything new? Do you want a challenge or someone to take the piss out of you or your ratings? Almost seems like you want to be attacked in some masochistic way, cause you know that’s what some are going to do, though i could be wrong, but that’s why i ask

I stumbled upon All We Love We Leave Behind early on shortly after getting into Bring Me the Horizon and thought they were super similar. But then it was years before I really dug in.

It would've been much easier having entry via AtF / AWLWLB era Converge I reckon, lol
..think of us poor souls who started here (to be fair maybe YFM would've been easier, as it was out at the time - No Heroes was the first 'verge I remember being released)

That's because those were the circa 2004 era of bands that were being pushed by the major labels and had crossover pop appeal via clean singing... gateway bands. You were the demographic.
There is nothing wrong with that, but don't think you and your contemporary kid buddies had it sewn up just because the music industry fed it to you on a plate.

"Jas raises a fair point with post-rock because the founding fathers of that genre sound quite starkly different to what occurred later on with GY!BE / EITS etc."
Literally how everything starts... pioneering/proto acts innovate and define the core tenets, others come along and use the basics as a prototype and it naturally consolidates to the repeated tropes that define a genre.

"wish people would stop calling this metalcore, its hardcore punk shit and it sucks"
Clearly don't know shit about hardcore punk or the roots of metalcore.
"The only reason I know this album exists is because of the internet, ain't nobody I ever spoke to irl be listening to this overrated drivel"
Never made a friend at a heavy show worth going to.
