Tundra we get it you've never had a harsh breakup you don't need to take it out on every "depressed-core" album.

It's not, it's got a consistent volume but there's slower sludge sections to keep things from tiring out as quick. I didn't even hear so much as a "Penance" by Ingested style track on Terrasite.

There is the same nuance in Terrasite yet you refuse to acknowledge that though? Anyways I do not see the sense in "volume" here it's just a boring riff fest with angry gremlin vocals with slow bits that are not compelling in the slightest, through and through a slog of a listen

Terrasite just sounds like a thousand other "heavy" death metal albums I've heard. Like, really CatDecap is just nothing to me, they lack the things I look for in a heavy album and this hits the spot.

"wish people would stop calling this metalcore."
Genre's a very big deal to you, it means next to fuck-all to me, but whatever... different strokes and the like.
However, if you're going to talk in genres, Converge and their contemporaries are the pioneering, QUINTESSENTIAL exponents of metalcore (metal + hard-core = metalcore... a CONVERGEnce or COALESCEnce if you will).
If you don't like it, fine, but you don't have to be a silly goose about it.

Sure its metalcore, but I do not like the abundant hardcore components in the album

“ wish people would stop calling this metalcore, its hardcore punk”
You whine about so much of the most benign shit as though it deeply aggravates you, why? Are you trying to rile people up or what? 🤨
