This is like their worst album that isn't One More Light tho

No, objectively they suck as a band.

How is this their worst ?! You like meteora and meteora is practically hybrid theory 2.0. There really isn't that big of a difference for you to like one and hate the other.

i'm kind of surprised people in this community take the post-Meteora (or well,l i'll be generous, post-Minutes to Midnight) stuff that seriously
maybe I've just been too far removed from it all but it seems like they quickly forsook the things that made them what they were in an attempt to be the post-numetal Coldplay

Hybrid Theory is full of classic karaoke songs. The rest, not so much.

Meteora perfected everything the band was trying to do on this, although the sad fact is that if there was no record company pressure on the band they likely would not have made a Meteora. This has also aged terribly especially in comparison to Meteora as well

Revisited this today to cleanse myself after OML... thing still rips. Forgotten is a monster track

I like appetite for destruction a lot less than this. go figure
if it means anything if you asked me 2 years ago I'd give this a 5. for nostalgia i might consider bumping this to a 3 but I haven't felt like being generous to this band lately

It'd be accurate to say that LP was a gateway for many of us moving into heavier music.

"Don't worry buddy, if you don't say stuff like, linkin park sucks and is an outdated band for kids and if you don't insult their fanbase you are not in my blacklist. Still kinda surprising to hear you say that you dislike appetite for destruction "
yeah man axl has one of the most grating voices to me. i really can't get past that extreme barrier
lp are super hit and miss for me but i dig some of their stuff from time to time. im very fond of a thousand suns, and reanimation and meteora are pretty fun listens from time to time too. a lot of it hasnt held up great for me but as someone who used to like a lot of their work i can definitely see the appeal

With You, Forgotten, By Myself, and Place For My Head have aged really well but the best song on this one has always been Cure For The Itch... such a gem
