Blinded in Chains is a top 250, maybe 200 metal song. I'm surprised this hasn't been received better with time. Obviously, the vocals and snare sound suck, but the leads are memorable and shreddy.

and Idk man the basslines on Bat Country are groovy as fuck. He’s got some really great moments on LIBAD… but I do agree that he’s probably the least important member.

honestly as a long-time a7x fan i just feel like this album was a rare miss for me, it has moments but the prod leaves a lot to be desired, the power metal-esque shreddy inclinations was never my favorite side of the band, and the gnr worship vocals, while still better than axl, just don't do much for me compared to what shadows would do on the 2 albums that followed this
