Also, I know you plan to go through the discography in order, but I wonder if you've considered jumping straight to integrity blues after this, before going back. Just in case the 3 albums in the middle cause you to lose faith a little. Not that they're bad, they're just different and potentially could give you the wrong impression that they've permanently changed their style/approach, when in fact they just tweak and experiment.

By the way, don't forget about Stay On My Side Tonight. the first track is one of the best in their discography, hands down. And Closer's bridge is epic.

"Pain" is one of their top 5 harder songs.

Work and Pain are the big singles from this but 23 is their best song ever and Kill is lowkey also one of their best.

23, Drugs or Me and Polaris are my favorites on first listen.

Minty, they sound like the same band, but definitely evolved. In all honesty, it feels more like THIS came after Clarity. BA now feels like an odd bridge between the two.

He means straight after Clarity. That's what makes Jimmy interesting is they don't have a linear progression in style. They kind of alternate between styles and experiment without pushing towards a particular genre. Chase This Light is more similar to Bleed American than it is Futures.

Yes, I meant right after Clarity, brother. Reading back, I definitely wasn’t clear on that so my bad.

Btw minty, I’m just going to continue chronologically. I won’t give up halfway through dude, invested as I bought their entire discog on CD. I do with every band I decide to invest myself in.

Going with a 4 for now, but this definitely has the potential to grow to a 4.5. Clarity remains my fav JEW so far though.

Have you heard the b-sides yet, Lark? Sparkle, Jen, and When I Want are essential.
