Album is definitely a classic, and underrated af.
My only real complaint was the effect on his vox, especially because I really like how he sounds here aside from that. But the riffs are just too good, not to mention the sick solos between Chuck and James Murphy, so I found the vocal effects pretty inconsequential, plus they eventually grew on me anyway.
Def 5 worthy, although I left my rating lower mostly because I prefer Human and ITP in particular is like top 3-5 dm for me. Also, if I 5 this, then I'd have all but 2 Death albums 5'd lmao.

I actually love how the vocals sound on this.
But then again, I love how everything sounds on this. Never understood why this one went overlooked in their discog.

The vocals grew on me over time, but it was a turn off at first.
I always assumed this gets overlooked because it sits in between Leprosy and Human. ITP is similar, sitting between Human and Symbolic, so I feel like a lot of people just ignore it in favor of those albums.
I think that's part of it for some people, but idk how anyone can sit down and listen to it and still rank it lower than every other Death album.
