This album is catchy, heavy, incredibly thoughtful, beautiful, and provides Dustin's best combination of fine wine smooth/sandpaper aggressive vocals

Comfortably sits in the middle-low end of their discography in terms of quality imo, there's plenty of great songs but everything before it was better except IC

This thing is more exhausting than any other Thrice album. It goes and goes and goes. I still don't like it quite as much as Beggars/Vheissu/AITA/Fire/Water, but it's still great by any means

Vheissu is definitely their best, but I like this just as much as their other albums except for the first and last two. In fact, this is probably my second favorite Thrice. Something about this album just really connects with me.

No doubt. And Disarmed.

Honestly, the only songs I’d give less than a 4 are Listen Through Me and Blur, but they’re still 3.5s.

Listen Through Me is the only meh track here, everything else is amazing. Best album they've ever put out.

They’re both good imo — just 3.5s rather than 4-5.

Surprised by your rating, but I agree. All those records pretty much destroy this. I will say, though, it took me forever to enjoy Beggars but as an old fuck it has become my second favorite Thrice. Hell, the acoustic version of Wood & Wire (Sonic Session) brings me to tears.

Dude, this album is amazing. Absolutely gripping from front to back with no lags, lulls or mediocre songs. Vheissu still beats it but this is definitely one of their best albums.

vheissu beats it [2]

actually though vheissu probably wouldn't even bother beating it, just like a ufc champion wouldn't beat up a 12 year old kid. it's just not fair

haha true. There's simply no competition. I could see how some would say Artist or IOS is their favorite but not this. I think this is where they started going downhill even though I like all of their albums.
