glad you're into them now :], the run of DTGL to LITSOS to this is one of my favorite stretches in music ever, all three albums have been really important to me, especially in the last couple years
which is why Erase Me is so disappointing because with the previous three albums, each one they pushed themselves more and continued to grow and expand their sound, and the back-to-basics of EM is just such a giant leap back for me

Yeah, I still enjoy it enough but it is comparatively disappointing. Where this is an easy 5, I think had Erase Me not been as big of a benefactor in my appreciation of the band I would have no qualms dropping my rating to a 3-3.5/5.
