when I saw these guys they opened their encore with WTCFM and their diagonal split screen for that tour flashed "MOTHER" on one side and "FUCKER" on the other and I distinctly remember it was so cheesy I wanted to laugh but then the chorus came in and I was blown away

I actually prefer Shadow of the Day over With or Without You, and this is coming from a seasoned U2 fan.

It's always been humorous to me that Linkin Park never swore in their nu-metal days, but went on to cuss a bunch when they switched over to rock. Who gets angry when they're writing theme songs to Transformers films?

Hey, I think this is their best. Took me by surprise, but I really like the sounds on this one.

Hmm so that makes One More Light their Make Believe? If so, there's worse to come.

Those albums always had people who liked them, especially A Thousand Suns. The vocal opinion on them, tho, was that they suck cos they're not nu metal. This band's discog is only getting a revival because of the shitstorm OML has caused

The only difference between Living Things and One More Light imo is that Living Things felt way more sincere.

Idk, I think that LT might be their second or third best(switches with THP depending on my mood)

I haven't listened to One More Light but it's hard to imagine it's worse than Living Things.

By far my favourite, love the fact that they really tried making something creative on this record. Some failures here and there, but a lot of great songs

Really like the album but i just dont bother with "The Messenger", totally unneeded and "The Catalyst" serves as a more than enough conclusion to the album

Idk I think The Messenger makes total sense as the closer in the grand scheme of the album's "storyline" but I guess it comes down to how the listener interprets the concepts and what each song represents

I do prefer the Catalyst as a closer but I love the Messenger too
