Ye man especially since u like this type of breakdown-heavy stuff.

idk, just feels so repetitive. guys really seemed to lack the ability to differentiate the song structures (and to be honest, that's still probably their weakest spot in songwriting)

That I can kinda agree with, it all seems to bleed together. Not that I care too much, it's all kick-ass to me.

this isn't really breakdown heavy though atleast not in the traditional since imo it's way more chaotic/math-y and melodic which is really bolstered by the metallic production. It's not an album i go to when i wanna be sonically bludgeoned but it is when i want well executed metalcore with a lot of heart.

I haven't heard the new one so i can't comment on it .

I should probably change that

wait just sussed my old account and saw i've rated it 3 and sure enough it's got 1 play through on itunes so must have left a negligible impression on me . i'll be fair and give it another go tomorrow though

All Our Gods was such a massive grower for me, took quite a few listens to really get into it and pick up small details to make me appreciate it more

This and Nightmares are best Architects for me, but I love their latest two as well

Daybreaker is my favorite, but this and Lost Forever // Lost Together are close second

This, Ruin, and Nightmares are the only albums I listen to really. I gave up on them after daybreaker tho. They sound a lot different now

Dead March would be my UFC theme song.

I'd want to have that kind of circus music that plays whenever you see a clown riding a unicycle or whatever

I'd have thought they'd have played more of their last record, given its context and the fact it's new.
