It's certainly not the greatest metal album, but it is rock solid. The rhythms are tight, the bass (when noticed) is excellent and harmonizes with the guitar nicely in some parts, and everything just seemed to click together. I've always hated Kirk Hammett though. The guitar solos on the album are .... ok (He's no Marty Friedman)

because lars urlich is a fucking terrible drummer. the hardest thing he ever had to play was double bass part in one. he makes ringo star look like neil peart.
