Kids growing up to anything they want really - everything available with the click of a button

When i was a kid, you had to either purchase an album or copy one to a cassette in order to enjoy it. We would copy from a copy and so on....

and even if you didn't like it, you listened to it again and again because you had listened to your other cassettes a million times. At least the "new" album was something fresh.

got super pissed if he did

it was all about the TDK SA 90 or Maxell MX (if I remember correctly)

and 'high speed dubbing' was the ultimate no-no when copying tape to tape

agreed. No discount on sound quality just for the sake of copying a cassette in less time.

Metallica is like a bunch of little children growing up, doing their little act, up to the Black album, when they started trying to hard to entertain, and it became painstaking to watch. Then Load, Reload, and they didn't get the memo. Somehow they finally noticed noone cared anymore, so they got together, and thought up the best little act they could come up with. St. Anger.

And people dispised it. Then they understood that the only thing others liked was doing the same thing they were doing before, and they made Death Magnetic. But now they are so old, and though we can enjoy it, but it isn't as fun they used to be.
