You shouldn't expect to be as blown away by Eminem now compared to when he was virtually the only white rapper and you were teenagers who didn't even know what rap was. That alone explains his hype.
And yeah he's one of my top 10 favorite artists, but he is still ridiculously overrated, even he will tell you i'm right - he does as much in his lyrics and interviews.
