What makes this album a classic?
It's awesome, but it's not anywhere close to flawless.

It's the first of it's kind honestly. Mind you what I'm about to say isn't always the case, but sometimes the first of it's kind automatically mines the BEST of it's kind to some. It's a sweet album but the whole thing doesn't consistently blow me away.

one could argue the classic status easily with this; the fact that musically it holds characteristics
that are not to be found anywhere else. its enigmatic, and also strangely familiar in its apathetic
and strangely relatable lyricism and haunting instruments. it also doesn't contain a weak track. all
these points are arguable obviously.

I need to listen to this with the lyrics at hand I guess.

I don't like that 5 is called "classic". Ratings are subjective so it doesn't make sense to talk about "flaws" and stuff like that.

tbh i don't really 'get' this album but most of the riffs are pretty cool and i like it when he yells "I MISS YOU" at the end
