Ah, cool... so it was for the lolz. Fair play... but I'm so used to seeing genuine production moans on things I thought sounded okay, it just felt inevitable that ol' Jane would have her turn... but it's not, so all good.

regarding the production on this my understanding is that the band doesn't like how loud everything is. everything is pushed to the max on the audio track and there is no room for dynamics.
personally I'm with you guys and love how cutting this sounds

yeah i'd be interested to hear how a redux would sound but there is a very small chance i'd prefer it to the og mix
hell i still listen to the og yfm mix 90% of the time despite the redux admittedly sounding better for the most part... just prefer jamming the version i fell in love with in the first place

I'm with you. The dirtiness of the OG you fail me is what I love about it. The newer one may sound cleaner and sharper, but for me it steals some of the bleakness that made the original effective for me
