I just don’t think I’ve ever seen you apply any actual criticism to the album, just saying it’s bad every few pages and considering how long you’ve been on this site and the kind of music you like I think it’s pretty weird that you don’t see the merit in this album and the band in general, unless you’ve just hated on it for so long that it’d be embarrassing to turn around and say you like it but personally I think it’s better to just own it and throw down to Heaven In Her Arms m/

Metal in general is typically automatically bad. You have to have excellent songwriting skills to make great heavy music. Converge is just metal on autopilot. Basically Converge is the auto-tune of metal.

How does it meander when it has verses and a chorus and a bridge, it’s like the easiest song to follow

Are there any chaotic or dissonant mathcore bands you like that you think does what Converge do but better or do you just not like these kinda bands
