My personal GOAT is Dusk and Her Embrace. Different for everyone of course, but there's so many amazing albums out there.

Fuck I haven’t listened to Funeral Diner in a minute.

Foxing self titled is my personal favorite album ever but this is probably top 10. Lyrically that album just hits so fucking hard. The lyrics here are great too just not quite on that level imo

indeed they do, that’s a screamo band that needs to make a comeback.

Tbh pg99 said they have some material in the pipeline and that’s is by far my most anticipated album. I don’t think they’d come back after all that time to put out some bullshit

I mean if there ever were a time it’d be soon. So many old school bands have had insanely good comebacks. I’d love for them to join the fun.

I mean yeah if we are going to get into Rolling Stone goated albums like Pet Sounds of Wish You Were Here i understand this doesnt fit among those. Great albums but i dont think any of those would be on my personal list of 50 best albums of all time tbh.

Ofc it is only personal preferance but very few albums have ever hit me like this one

If I were ever to make a “greatest albums of all time list” it would not include albums from bands that I never really cared for despite them being watershed moments for rock music.

I like this more than anything I’ve heard from Pink Floyd, the Beatles, etc

Idk if this beats the first time I really “got” abbey road, but I get what you mean Lassie / Wildcard, you like what you love and arbitrarily grading an album due to the impact on music rather than your liking makes it *not* your list but just like every other list out there.

Yeah, and I mean no disrespect to those bands… they’re seen as legendary for a reason. I’m not gonna shit on them because I do recognize how important they are. They’re just not my thing.
