mostly just wish they actually learned the lessons they took re: song cohesiveness on hail stan and applied it here. one of their most stapled together sounding albums outside of the highlights
dracul is still maybe a top 3 if not 2 periphery song though

I must have watched all of the behind the scenes docos they put out for each album and they just look bored to tears except Spencer.
Definitely feels like they would benefit from some outside influence to help them tighten it all up.

I 100% reject that Spencer isn't good at writing vocal lines. It's actually what I like most about him. He's awesome at writing intricate, creative yet catchy af voice lines. His lyrics often suck but most of the time I can tune them out easily.
The overall songwriting isn't always top tier on this but on P4 it was mostly excellent.

I agree with this but he's become one of those vocalists who is all over the place so everyone's mileage may vary

Spencer and Matt. I always feel bad for Matt because every scene in the docs he's in, he's always so genuinely focused and sincere and seems to really care about the direction the music is going
