Fig with a Bellyache is the only song in mWY discography I don't like. Even then it's only the first half, I quite like the second half but the vocals at the beginning are rough.

At the caterpillar picnic, brother butterfly stole
the rhubarb stem, licked and dipped it in the sugar bowl.
I'm honestly not gaslighting you when I say that song has some of my favorite lyrics and melodies, plus the delivery all-round is fantastic.

It's odd, but Julia has overcome my bias against singles to climb up from almost mid-tier to the number one spot in the most recent weeks.
I can't get enough of that riff, or that second verse.

"Shhhh... I didn't get to see that one."
Aaron made a remark about how difficult it was touring with two young children and then dedicated it to all new parents, old parents and non-parents in the audience.
It was very touching.
But mostly, the floor shook when that riff came in.

if I were to listen to this band, what order should I go in?

Start at Brother, Sister. Then either go chronically backwards or forwards. You might want to pass on It's All Crazy, though. And I say that as someone who might rank that top of their discog. It's an anomaly record and whether you like it has little bearing on whether you will like records after it. They didn't stay with that sound.

I'd say start with B,S or Catch For Us the Foxes. After those (assuming you like them) either this or Pale Horses would work.

(Going chronically backwards will take you in more of a post-hardcore direction, going forwards will take you in more of an indie, alt rock direction.)

Nothing wrong with starting with this album (this is my first mwY album haha) I instantly loved it when I gave it a spin. "Julia" might be my favourite song of 2018.
