if you look at the new age psych movement ppl started rly doing this synth / electronic route right around 2015 after this album. Even Homeshake completely switched their sound after being a guitar heavy group in 2014/2015. Def influenced the entire genre p significantly

there are like 5 or 6 songs on lonerism that are better than any song on here

that said this is def the album that people will remember out of all of them probably? from a macro perspective
