but not to the same degree, because that soundtrack isn't as dynamic, that's just the song of all the underwater levels. it doesn't change to fit the landscape of the level as you travel through it, it's always the same song.

I like how Odyssey has alternate versions of its songs when you're below water
and DKC does have you jump on enemies to the beat of the song, which make noises that are in key with the song which is cool

for the banjo soundtrack there are 8 variations of one song. you are trying to judge each of these variations as their own piece. but that is completely wrong because as you play the game, it is switching between those 8 variations in real time. you aren't getting the full effect of the soundtrack unless you play the game.
