Exul has Equus, henceforth it also has NeO best guitar solo aside from Triptych Lux, so basically it's a 5,,,

Misericorde from Exul is stunning
Urn: The one with Eyrie on it, title track live slaps tho

Honestly they're all great for me. Literally the most consistent metal band for me besides Death

Urn has more chill to it and sometimes that's just the vibe

urn is still easily their worst, but it still has some bangers with Libera pt I, Intra Venus and Eyrie
agreed with Urn tt live being great, but on the album it kinda falls flat for me

seems like they basically just needed time to cool off, and the 10th anniversary tour was all the incentive they needed to patch it up. good stuff. very excited.

Ngl might raise this back to a 5
I'm coming to conclude this is the most lush/layered I think NeO ever were
|
| |
actually amazing how shite they got on citadel after the debut of this quality
|

Album Rating: 4.5
I think Citadel is still goddamn incredible, this is kind of more...holistic ig?? There's a little more subtlety and consequently more to dissect underneath a scope whereas Citadel is, while still quite dense and full of movements, a bit less reserved about it's meticulous qualities.
