Especially the version that lasts 26 minutes...unfortunately, I don't have that version myself cause I have the Neurot reissue w/the bonus tracks Cleanse II and the demo for Takeahnase.

As well as just generally being an incredible piece of music, Oceanic translated extremely well to the live setting. Watching them play False Light, leading in to Carry, and seeing how in to the music both the band and crowd were, was something I’ll never forget.

That wouldn’t happen to be the same show that ended up being Live V (the one where they played Oceanic in its entirety) now would it?

I feel like a dummy.
I've listened to the remasters on my home speakers after they were released and concluded that the differences are really small.
I've bought better home equipment (uber stack + X2) and iems (2000j) in the meantime, but I've kept listening to the OG versions 'cos they are "almost the same".
The last few days I've fell in love with Isis again (after not listening their music for the past few years) and decided to try out the remasters again. The sound is so clear!!!
I just like what they've did with all 3 albums. A bit sad that I've "wasted" a few years listening to the inferior version.
However, I am so happy finding out that the albums I adore can sound even better.

Not at all, it was good to hear these albums with better sound quality (and I'm also really glad they didn't re-record them like The Ocean did, Remastered Fluxion is WEIRD) but to say that I've wasted my years listening to the "inferior" OG versions just feels wrong, how do I put it tho..
It's like saying I watched the inferior version of Dragon Ball back in the day on a crap TV and now there's the blu ray available and cheap LED Tvs too.. nah, I had a great time watching that show, same with this. Funny thing, that I remember saying Oceanic was the perfect Post Metal album a long time ago and then lost my shit when the remastered version came out.. I was like, how did they make it even better? What even is a 5?

Oh well, I am a snob - only listen to flac, only watching 10bit hdr movies etc.
I still cannot give 5 to this, although it is one of my favorites albums. There are some parts of the album that I don't like.

@Shuyin I have the original on CD and the remastered version from their bandcamp. I'll just say it's nice to revisit these masterpieces with an updated sound quality.
