if i recall correctly, even on the original '76 pressing, it correctly lists the tracklist on the back of the sleeve as opening with Prelude and ending with Deceiver, but the record itself had the mislabeled sides (side A opening with Victim, B opening with Prelude), so i think the mix up happened during the initial pressing

most recent (and only official) remaster from 2011 or 2012 or something corrects the tracklist issue. it's from a box set called "the complete albums collection"
