well yeah i mean there's so much going on all the time that it'd be hard to remember certain parts the first few times you listen to it but that doesn't have anything to do with being catchy.

Actually it does, usually if something is catchy it has that "stuck in your head" quality that this album didn't give me not just during the first listen but the second third and fourth as well. Actually by the fourth I kind of just went about my business playing xbox instead of finishing it.This Message Edited On 07.09.08

So much catchiness to remember though, by end of Bloodmeat I'd have "a thousand fathers killed..." stuck in my head then by end of dissentience "somebody's little girl dreams of the things..." and by end of bone marrow "the king of kings wore seven rings and..." and so on all the way down to Goddess Gagged with "bury your daughter and pray for a son". Each song has a catchy moment imo.

Actually it does, usually if something is catchy it has that "stuck in your head" quality that this album didn't give me not just during the first listen but the second third and fourth as well. once you listen to this enough times to remember parts, they get stuck in your head. but the album is catchy regardless; i can't help but sing along and headbang and stuff while i listen to it.

No way. The reasons I laid out in my review for hating this album aren't going to change with repeated listens, even if you guys are insisting that the "catchiness" will "catch" on eventually. I mean I understand you guys are just trying to help out cuz you think this is great and everything and trust me, I can relate to wanting to spread music I love. Is this considered Emo Death Metal. It's awfully Poppy for something trying to be hard. The guitar players have some really nice runs though, but they're used way too often, too over-the-top.
