i actually could never get into folklore, hawks. gonna try it again though, it's been like 3 years. mantle, this, and marrow are all damn near perfect though. serpent is good but i don't think it's even remotely close to this

I don't think Marrow or Serpent can touch the first 3 albums and they're both still easy 4.5's for me lol. But yeah bro give Pale Folklore another chance hard, easily one of the best albums ever made for me.
Check the new Pillorian album too if you haven't yet. So fucking underrated around here.

Hawks - stupid question (as I see you as some sort of all-knowing metal sage)... how the heck am I supposed to organise my listening correctly? I feel overwhelmed. Part of me wants to persevere within one subgenre or even a time period within said subgenre, the other likes a bit of variety but that means I don't get anywhere.
