Post-metal is a varied enough genre, so I imagine there will be stuff out there for you. Neurosis are often ‘sludgier’ than some and perhaps a tougher nut to crack, although I’d recommend TEOES as their best gateway album - it’s comparatively ‘light’ for them, and fairly accessible.

Failing that maybe try Mouth of the Architect (particularly Quietly).
