Converge create a masterpiece with their album Jane Doe, which is an album that people who embrace it, will not forget it.

this is the heaviest thing i've ever enjoyed anywhere near as much as i do, bar none

i guess i like some Death but i don't feel like they're as heavy as this, even if that sounds somehow sacreligious or something lul

They all are. Every song here is perfect. The only “weak” song here is Phoenix in Flames and that’s just really an outro to Phoenix in Flight.

or an intro to Thaw, whatever you want to slice it this album is just 45 minutes of perfection

‘i guess i like some Death but i don't feel like they're as heavy as this, even if that sounds somehow sacreligious or something lul‘

nah that makes sense, Death aren’t really notable for their heaviness, certainly not when viewing so through a modern lens (early stuff was heavy for the time).

This is as chaotic and raw as most things I’ve heard tbh. On sheer low end heaviness it can easily be beat, but yeah this is pretty darn heavy in my book.

Death is notable for their songwriting which imo it's far more important than being heavy for the sake of

yeah agreed with both.

I mean, just look at slam and brutal death metal. Most of those bands fucking suck and it’s not because they’re being too heavy
