wow yea doesnt seem like that label is related to metal blade, kept assuming that I guess cause they were getting more buzz in music press for this release then they had anywhere else throughout career really, but looks like im mistaken
regardless uve heard the record and know exactly what im talking about so lets not split hairs

Whats the furthest that Ulcerate can actually go notoriety wise? Even with this record I dont think theyll fill stadiums or get more than 300 000 views on YouTube

Ok... To celebrate the accessabilty and easy listening qualities of this: what are your no 1 most inaccessible albums?
I gotta go with Painkillers live set in the course of John Zorn's 50th birthday:

I especially don't get that screeching Sax there which usually is pure gold...

that said, they won't get Immolation fame cuz that's an unfair comparison for many many reasons, but since this band works hard and DIY in many aspects they'll def earn that cred and respect in years to come since their output has been so fuckin strong and that'll be recognized.

Honest question since I'm not familiar with the scene: Is Immolation that much more well known than Ulcerate? It seems to me that Gorguts, Immolation and Ulcerate are more or less equally known when it comes to this style.

gorguts and immolation have 15 more years on this band
