Becoming obsessed with these guys again and this one has gotta be my favorite.
How the fuck was this band so good. Unretrofied is godlike

No disrespect to Dmitri and Patton, but Puciato was THE guy for this band.

I'll throw hands with anyone who hates on Unretrofied. If you can listen to that song without singing the chorus at the top of your lungs you must be dead inside

Nah, sounds nearly perfect to me. Agreed with the borderline 5 part tho

Too many remakes and remasters in society today. This sounds fine as is. That tweedlely guitar freak out in Panasonic Youth just make me wanna start seizing on the floor in a good way. Unretrofied was one of my first ever Dillinger songs. Very smooth alt rock cut. I think I first heard it on Smackdown vs Raw 2007 on the 360.

Nah [2], my fav sounding by them honestly. But they all sound good-fantastic other than Dissociation which has atrocious drums.
|
| |
Can get behind that tbh, a lot of this is brutally mixed but it rides the rough edge well. Probably their best aggro album
Feelings on Ire's prod are neutral, but Dissociation is easily the worst prod-wise — overproduced greatest hits redux of what made the previous two records in particular so good
|
| |
Imagine being so nitpicky about drum production that you overlook the entire artistry of the song or album

dissociation fvckin' rules tho
|

we can go into the "artistry" of Dissociation and its mix of back catalogue recycling and whingy Reznor coattailing if you insist but
