.5 is great, Sarcastrophe, The Devil in I and Custer are probably my favorite songs. 3,8/5

yeah, sucks for the rest of you I guess. Anyway, I just saw a TV ad for the new Slipknot album, yeah it was like 9pm or whatever but seriously, Australia never has metal promotion on TV and then bam. Reminds me of about 7 years ago when Disturbed had an ad for the Music as a Weapon tour on TV. Probably occurs all the time in America though.

I've never understood the hate for this album. I think it's much better than Volume 3 and on par with Iowa. Sure, front to back maybe not as strong, but the standout tracks on here kick serious ass.

I relistened to this yesterday and bumped my rating from a 2.5. This has their best production, singing, guitarwork, drumming, album artwork, and lyrics of any of their albums. I always thought that this was their worst, but now I consider it their second best after Vol. 3. Honestly their first two albums only have 2-4 songs I care about.
