gore has tracks i would call downright bad
ohms kinda blends into itself but i coudln't call any track off of it bad either though

I think they both suffer from the band trying to be heavy and dreamy but not really committing to either, ohms is not as clunky or noticeable

Honestly, L.D. 50 is their best, but I wouldn't say that "The End of All Things to Come" or "Lost and Found" are bad records. It could be because "Lost and Found" is nostalgic for me, but "Pull the Strings" is such a good song.

TEOATTC and lost and found are underrated

Compared to some of the other 2005 mainstream metal releases ("See You On the Other Side" "Ten Thousand Fists", "City of Evil") it's definitely one of the better ones.

Hadn't thought about this masterpiece of an album for years until I saw a recent comment added to this thread, so decided to revisit it.. A couple of listens and watching a bunch of bass covers on YouTube later - What a fucking journey this takes you on. Not only is it massively nostalgic, but also makes you appreciate what the band did with this some 20 years ago compared to what bands are doing today. If this came out now, it would still hold its own as a magnificent modern day progressive album.
I hate categorising this album as Nu-Metal, because I don't believe it is. To me this is progressive metal; it transcended a lot of boundaries that true Nu-Metal bands like Korn and Limp Bizkit had created and really progressed the genre into a new era. Their albums progressively got less interesting after this one - TEOATTC was a nice follow up to this but LD50 truly stands alone in the scheme of their career.
For anyone who doesn't think this is one of the best rock/metal bass albums of all time, watch the below video. Mind blowing bass work on this album:

I personally can't hear the bass in the mix at all. "Dig" is the most egregious example of this. Would love a remaster or something.
