This album is excellent and nothing hits home quite like it when you've just had your heart ripped out
That said, most of my life is not spent in that sort of dire anguish, which is why AWLWLB is my favorite of theirs most of the time. Axe to Fall is also up there.

Me neither (anymore), but sometimes it helps to remember the past and what once was, even if those memories are painful. This band will forever represent that catharsis for me, this one in particular for obvious reasons.

The Concubine/Fault and Fracture one-two punch is still one of the best things I've ever heard in a metal or hardcore album

"fault and fracture" is a top 5 metal song for me. obviously you kind of have to not be that into metal to say stuff like that but yah. the first song on Dead as Dreams, maybe The Third Children from Inalienable, ye entrancemperium, Carry, fault and fracture....boom
