September 19th is the actual anniversary if you guys wanna get your reviews ready for this classic. Id definitely partake if anyone else is interested? Itd be such a cool way to celebrate this magnificent album.

Because of my recent listening, Spotify recommended this and it had been a while so I said "hell, I could listen"

dunno what caused that to happen but it’s practically a guaranteed upgrade. It’s been a while for myself as it happens

You mean what did I listen to for that suggestion? Probably the various hardcore-adjacent things I rotate, Holy Fawn and Static Dress and Glassing, things of that nature.

finally listened to this and idk, it's weird but like...not as weird as I was hoping for?

screams were VERY old trophy scars which is cool and ironic cuz ahh Chicago Typewriter.

i hate that i love the feature there to death, one of my favorite parts on that album but ughh, cant get myself to love these guys

This was a lot weirder around when it dropped. Many bands have taken their cues from this and I reckon that kinda makes it seem more ‘conventional’ in a modern context idk

I’m definitely biased and nostalgia-fuelled in my assessment of this but it really has aged well imo. Sounded like a damn revolution (to an admittedly younger, less-seasoned me) at the time and on reflection, delivers above and beyond expectations now. I’d certainly expected it to taper off somewhat, yet it endures.

One of those classic post hc records I've just never jammed. Might just do that on the train today

This is the only one I've heard. Should probably jam the others at some point.
