MTM was my first album I owned. That has solid tracks, but it's a 2.5 nowadays. This and Meteora will always be 3.5s to me. I always enjoy them to a certain extent.

yeah the last few times I listened to this and meteora it wasn't so much nostalgic bias as being genuinely impressed by how beautiful1 and perfectly integrated the electronic bits are, plus every melody on the first 2 albums is pretty much perfect
I always thought the rapping was corny, and it is all processed within an inch of its life (though that's commonplace these days and It works for the music anyway so whatever) but after I'd heard HD for the first time as a 5th grader, I got past that
