its funny cuz i looked at covers/tabs and it seems that they dont play 0's that much, we just cant hear it well because the notes are so low lol

rational gaze went crazy [3]
brought a friend with me who had never been to any show with a pit before. he wasn't exactly begging to jump in the pit himself but we stood close enough to it so i could jump in and out/he could watch
but the second rational gaze kicked in you were in the pit whether you liked it or not... seriously one of the coolest moments of any show i've ever been to

Yeah Rational Gaze live is ๐๐๐๐
That groove is undeniable. You just can't ignore it.

My whole crowd pulsed up and down in perfect unison to that groove. It's tough to explain to someone who has never heard Meshuggah. You just have to experience it.

hahaha gotta love it when people experience them live for the first time
saw them for more than a decade live and I know how it goes
Last time I saw them, they were playing at a fest before BMTH and Tool. Their crowd wasnโt as massive as for those bands but the crowdsurfing and moshing was nonstop. Iโve been listening to them for almost 2 decades now and their grooves come to me like 4/4 house beats and I just dance along.

yep ive been seeing them since koloss and this recent tour might be their tightest set yet. idk how they keep getting better
demiurge-future breed as the encore combo was ridiculous
also the new songs sound fucking sick live

god that show was so fucking sick. Rational Gaze was def a top moment - when the chorus groove hit all hell just broke loose everybody jumpin around like crazy.
Also though the 1-2 of In Death was so good - the fuckin breakdown riff hit and I absolutely lost it and just started shoving off of everyone around me even though we weren't by the pit lmao

demiurge-future breed as the encore combo was ridiculous [2]
my god, my neck was already shot from relentless headbanging following the converge and shuggah sets... but I didn't give a damn once that encore combo ensued

i should really blast this band more huh

Album Rating: 4.0
Hahaha I was tapped out after being in the pit for all of shug and a good chunk of converge by the end of Straws... think I literally would've died at the start of FBM
Usually not a fan of bands slowing down songs live but the middle of FBM was fucking punishing slowed down like that... either that or it was I who was slowing down lmao

Lol nah Alex it was def the band slowing down with FBM, makes that shit even heavier

Everytime I listen Jens whisper the songs I'm like "bro, you can learn how to sing properly if you want"
|
| |
I mean Phil Anselmo ripped his throat in half and he can barely sing cemetery gates now for not learning how to sing with a vocal coach. Don't do what most untrained death metal singers do kids.
