What songs blend together here though? I feel like this is arguably the most diverse ETID record. There's a ton of variety imo, that's part of why I love this thing so much.
Not trying to question you or change your opinion or anything lol just genuinely curious.

Hahah I appreciate the effort, but that doesn't make sense to me. I think I've listened to this like 20-30 times and it hasn't blended together at all

This album is relentless. Never took much notice of this band but this is the best metalcore album I've heard in years undoubtedly. Funny that in a month with new Whitechapel, Mastodon and Archspire I end up listening to this the most, and I was anticipating all those other albums a lot more than this!

As a drummer, I am very impressed by this guy lol, this thing is very diverse/stop and go, I am listening to a couple of tunes from Low Teens and I can see myself more or less playing them, this I tried some jamming along yesterday and man it's complex

Also a drummer and while I'll agree Daniel has a flair thats unmatched, I fucking love that dude and his writing, but if we're focusing on diversity and technicality Goose absolutely rips

Yeah that was kinda funny. "They all sound the same except for 7 of the 16 songs that sound different". Idk everyone can have their own opinion but this definitely doesn't feel samey to me. I'm on the opposite side lol I actually think it's really diverse and balanced perfectly between the heavier songs and the more clean-vocal driven songs.

But I don’t think they sound the same - you do. I’m just saying it’s ironic you’re saying it sounds samey when you’re also saying half the record is unique and different. That seems pretty well diversified don’t you?
I mean the band has a sound. I’m not upset half the record is that sound

You find simple what you don't find meaning in, not that the meaning doesn't exist for other people. There are some ETID albums I'm just ok with but that a lot of ETID fans love, so clearly I'm also glossing over some things too. I find a lot of fun and meaning in Radical, but it's ok that other people don't.
