Lol...this took a while to grow on me. As did Aenima, even longer. But I finally got them. And it was sweet.

I mean if you're expecting a pure "metal" album then you're going to be disappointed. If you're expecting 1000 bpms and shredding solos you're gonna be disappointed. What makes Tool great to me is they're experimentation. Nobody sounded like them when they came out. They were completely unique. They knew how to be progressive but also make hooks. Maynard had his own style, as did Adam, Danny, and Justin.
If the only reason you can come up with is they're "boring" then IDK what to tell you. This band is anything but fuckin boring.

when i was in middle school i thought tool was gay because they played schism on the radio but after listening to songs like reflection and 46 and 2 i ventured to the whole discog. and my mind changed. tool pretty much own.
