This is even worse than I imagined..
Band hasn't done anything worthwhile since their debut. Spencer clearly became a better singer though, yet he still sounds obnoxious, is way too high in the mix and still doesn't seem to know how to match his vocals with the music.
Songwriting is almost non-existent, just a boring chugfest with some uninspired solos here and there. It's like they don't even try to write a decent song/melody anymore. I did like the symphonic bits in crush, but thats the only redeeming factor of this album.
Also, racecar>>>>>>>>>reptile.

I'd say P2 is about on par with P1 but that's just my opinion

Vocals just ruin it for me these days, I think my tolerance level was a bit higher back in the day. Still enjoyed them when they opened for Devin Townsend a few years ago.
I just wish they had dropped spencer by now, he just drags it all down in my opinion.

Funny enough, he elevates their music to a higher level in my opinion. Love the emotion he puts into each performance.

I totally understand that deathbat, he's got a ton of personality and flair, just not the sort that I enjoy I guess =D
It would be boring if we all liked the same things anyways.

Is it just me or is the production on this really messy? Everything kind of blends together

Ye, you can't properly enjoy it with a below average IQ, but it's awesome for anyone above average
