Anna, No Penance, America, and Lookers off the top of my head. I generally hate that songwriting tactic.

This album is a catchy punk band at their peak, OTIP is a catchy punk band in denial. This is what they are good at.

And it’s super elitist to think that you know more about a song than an artist who, uh, wrote it. It might not hit you the same way as their old stuff did, which is completely fair, but that doesn’t mean you have a deeper insight on their song-writing process that the band itself lmao. That’s what gives music critics a bad name.

You might not like a dish at a restaurant, but that doesn’t mean you know the ingredients or recipe better than the chef.

I still think this is a comparatively weak Menzingers entry. Shocked at how many people consider it their best (or even second best).

It’s just musically top-notch, and I happen to agree that the tighter song-writing on this one benefits the listener.

RW is just so boring. That's my problem. Also Greg is annoying off-pitch a lot, especially during In Remission. And not in a "oh he's punk and he doesn't care" sort of way....more like a "he's trying but doesn't realize he is singing poorly" way
