Yeah no, don't get me wrong, I didn't necessarily disagree with him, he was just REEEEALY obnoxious about it. Another one of my friends is a huge Metallica fan and they almost got in a first fight a couple of times. Again, this was years ago, I doubt that would happen to us now.

i don't think it's fair to blame it all on texas but the association with trailerpark white trash is real.

"HOWEVER, I can see why people went ape shit over BF. I mean besides the whole thrash revival angle it was their first album."

Don't forget Hexen - State of Insurgency! Not their first album but one of the best in new school thrash.

Pantera is fucking awesome, they kept metal alive in the mainstream during an era of grunge and whatnot

pantera have like a dozen good songs at most between all their albums

the difference between their chugs after cowboys... and nu metal is really not that big

Uhmm no

Listen to Revolution is my Name and then listen to something like Freak on a Leash, their is a pretty noticeable difference.

Pantera is one of the most boring and uninteresting bands ever, i'd rather jam Roots by Sepultura or Slipknot indeed tbh
also lol @ keeping the metal alive in the 90's lmao

The slow parts are good for the dynamic of this album, but when it blastbeats :BLISS:
