As a huge hip-hop fan, in a sense, he's kind of (repeat, kind of) right, but he worded it in the most dumbassed way possible

how is what he said right at all

what he said is actually incredibly asinine...hip hop is among the genres that's most ahead of the curve right now. progressive metal is one that's very much behind the curve.

Okay, he's right in the sense that even though hip hop is incredibly forward thinking within the constraints of the genre, it doesn't take as much to be labeled "experimental" for hip hop as it does rock, or electronic, or jazz, etc. I'll agree that everything else he said was fuckin stupid

I can't even tolerate hip-hop after coming from PtH, Converge, Dillinger etc. It puts me to sleep.

Like even what he's saying isn't the least bit interesting. It's not even novel, and the delivery is nothing special, either. And when there's nothing musically interesting there, either, I don't really even see the point.

I really like "Sing About Me," but nothing on here even comes close to that.

This is where you keep fucking up. If you had left this out, that comment wouldn't make you sound like even more of a poon

Don't compare hip hop to metalcore in any shape, form, or fashion. I'm sure you mean well, but you're coming across as a dumbass. Just tryna help out
