I didn't really like this album, but I think Heavy sounds pretty good so far

"right now people want that they release a hard rock/ alt metal effort again"

And if they did it they'd be the biggest sellouts in music history. It's not what they want to do, don't like it" Don't listen to it and replay this. LP are becoming a band where they don't want to make the same album twice and I commend them for it. We'll see how the album is overall.

"Well, not exactly because when they were releasing THP they really talked shit against the indie pop groups and mike said he was tired of the electro pop run of the mill acts, now they are making exactly that with this album, specially that in the past the single which is revealed at first described the album perfectly in the case of linkin park. We'll see how the album is overall."

Which is exactly what makes the teasing for the new song aggravating. They already showed immense promise and potential with the sound they presented here and the fact that they ditched everything they paved for here on THP for something the polar opposite, it's just a slap in the face

Finally listening to the new LP video. She sounds like one of those Lorde imitators that keep popping up

First time hearing Line in the Sand in a very long time. So much potential wasted by sticking to their roots too closely. I always imagine that solo ending the song sounding even more badass if it was tremelo picked and Rob did way more double bass work (or hell even a blast for the final minute before the reprise of the intro). Song is still one of the band's best songs but it could have been something very groundbreaking for them if they pushed themselves harder

Also I have no idea why I never noticed the clipping all over the damn song

wow...talk about a complete 180

I guess it works as a pop song in general but not for a Linkin Park song.
